Accounting
Automatic Posting
The EDGE interfaces with the award winning QuickBooks Pro accounting system. All store activities are posted automatically to your accounts, saving endless hours of bookkeeping. All sales, layaway payments, repair and appraisal payments, credits and refunds, charge card fees ... every store activity is included, effortlessly.
General Ledger
The Edge comes with a predefined chart of accounts that you can customize to suit your needs. All customer payments and refunds, all vendor payments, credits and refunds are automatically posted to the appropriate G/L accounts.
Miscellaneous
Administrative
The EDGE software can be tailored by each user. Tax tables are defined here, associates will be defined, passwords will be assigned and commission type and rates established. Operational preferences are indicated here as well. The EDGE has a number of parameters that can be adjusted to make it fit your needs as well as possible.
System Lists
The system makes use of many pull-down lists. These lists contain values that you would expect to use over and over again such as the names of chains, the clarity of diamonds, etc. These essential commonly used values can be put into lists and when needed they can easily be selected from the list. Helps to standardize processes and create the same results from multiple operators.
