We can help you get off to the best possible start whether your coming over from another system or starting from scratch. Abbott Jewelry Systems provides the following services. The staff is very experienced in getting stores off the ground with The EDGE software. You can rest assured that you'll be up and running in the shortest possible time where ever your starting point.
Services designed to make the transition easy.
On-Site Training
Abbott Jewelry Systems will tailor a program to meet your specific needs. Typically an on-site visit consists of training the sales staff on POS matters, the inventory specialist on entering, tagging, reordering, special orders, etc, and providing management with the procedures to pull the reports essential to the well being of the company. A minimum of two days is required to do an adequate job.
Data Conversions
We can probably convert the data from your existing system to The EDGE. The staff has lots of experience with lots of different systems. Odds are very good that your data can be converted without a lot of trouble and at minimum expense. You will be asked to send a sample of your data for confirmation. A technician will look at it and advise you of the potential for success, ensuring your satisfaction.
Set Up and Data Entry
We can provide an on-site set up specialist who will assist you in getting going from scratch. The set up specialist will help you to define categories in the most meaningful way, enter vendor records and inventory items. The set up specialist alone will enter about 1000 to 1200 items in the normal one week set up period. Complimented by the store's inventory manager it is possible to very nearly inventory the entire store.
Telephone and Remote Assistance
We will provide telephone support either to you or your technician. The ability to connect to your computer remotely is necessary to provide the highest level of support. Our technical staff will advise you of the best methods available based on your equipment, and the communications options available in your area. if necessary our technicians may connect to you computer and trouble shoot problems almost as if on-site. We are prepared to spend a little extra time with new startups. We expect it.
